JO WADA KIYA WO.....:p
This song perfectly suits my dear hubby, as he promised me once that he will take me to the Taj Mahal and you know how difficult it is for a man to escape his promise.:)
We both have been there separately, so I wanted to visit it with him .This Sunday he finally agreed to go there.I don't know why but he was not as excited as me.:(..Anyways finally we left for the white wonder of the world..
When we reached at the gate we started looking for some vehicle to go inside.Soon we got a rickshaw. The rickshaw puller seemed to be quite expert of his job.He asked if we would like to know about the structures which come on the way and he will charge 20 more bucks for it.We told him that we were not interested. But as he was quite professional he insisted that we should do that ,then avoiding more conversation with him we agreed. Like a tape recorder he told us everything and in between he used to rebuked us when we talked with each other saying" hello bhaisab idhar suno" and YE LO we reached at the entrance in two minutes just like instant noodles. We thought, was that all??
After taking the tickets we got lined up in the common queue , as few minutes passed a police man came asking me to go to the 'mahila line'.I got sad because I wanted to be with my dear hubby, so what if it was a queue. But due to the circumstances we had to get separated.Alas!!!!But it wasn't that bad too..;p as I reached the premises pretty fast .The'mahila line' was divided into two parts ,one was for Indian Women and other was for 'high value ladies'(i.e.,for foreigner ladies).I told to myself even if I had taken the high value ticket I would have preferred going from the Indian women line only ,as it sounded decent.:P.Then after a decade or something my husband reached inside the premises and then we proceeded towards the monument of love.
Some people ask me if i go to The Taj Mahal daily,as I stay in Agra.I want to tell them It was my first time after my marriage.:).I always imagined going there with my husband. As I had told you he wasn't that excited ,but who can remain uninterested after seeing the first look of the astonishing monument. He forgot everything and started enjoying seeing it.Soon a photographer came and asked us if we will take snaps clicked by him which will cost 50 bucks for each print and we had to take minimum six.As we are good bargainers :) (which we think we are)we convinced him for 3 prints.(Its a different thing that later we took all the ten prints as we really liked all the snaps taken by the clever photographer.;-).There were many things worth watching apart from the Taj.Good looking foreigner girls are one of them.I felt my dear hubby was looking at one.I asked if he was ,to which he smartly replied he was admiring The Great Shahjahan's creation behind and not some Brit's.:P
After viewing and adoring The Great Taj Mahal we moved towards the gate where our photographer was waiting for us ,but we couldn't resist turning back and watching The Taj again for some more time.Altogether we spent a serene Sunday evening at the Taj appreciating its beauty. But I feel its actually the time we spent together made us feel special and not the monument, as we can have that nice feeling sitting at our terrace too.:)
Nice 1 Mami ji. U both had a gr8 time (I must say Mama had 2 if he was staring at British gal.. kidding). Also, good description.
